HYBRITEC DTE - DTL combination dryers

Overview

HYBRITEC DTE - DTL combination dryers combine the extremely low pressure dew points of desiccant dryers with the energy-saving functionality of modern refrigeration dryers, allowing the desiccant dryer to be switched off during periods where more moderate DTPs are required such as in the summer months. Reliably dry, cost-effective compressed air is provided from 12 to 150 m8/min (DTE - DTL series models). Compressed air connection: G 2 1/2, DN 80 - DN 200. PDP level can be set between −40 °C and +3 °C. Optional special features include working pressure up to 16 bar, integration within container module, and automatic summer/winter mode switching. Desiccant replacement intervals can be as infrequent as every 10 years. Energy consumption is stated as some 50 % of that required by heat regenerated desiccant dryers and just 20 % of the energy used by heatless regenerated units. Dryers from this series contain the fluorinated greenhouse gas R-513A. Combination dryers are presented as configurable for virtually any application from standard models in the dryer range, delivering reliably dry compressed air across the 12 to 150 m8/min flow range with an adjustable PDP between −40 °C and +3 °C. The HYBRITEC design supports seasonal operation by allowing the desiccant dryer to be switched off when more moderate dew points suffice, and optional automatic summer/winter mode switching implements that function automatically. Units can be specified with options such as working pressure up to 16 bar or integration within container modules, and the product documentation recommends pairing with AQUAMAT oil/water separators for condensate treatment before drainage into the regular wastewater system.
