Overview

The TM 300 Drum Mill is used for the preparation of granules and powders, with the grinding process performed either in dry or wet conditions. It can be operated either as a Ball Mill or as a Rod Mill by using the corresponding module and requires a sufficient number of balls or rods for effective grinding. Typically, a final fineness below 20 microns is obtained. The drum mill consists of a gear motor mounted on a solid steel frame and includes an outlet funnel, a set of separation screens and a removable sample collector. It features a yoke and locking mechanism for sample access and a drum cover that is easily removed for cleaning via a quick release locking mechanism. Additional product features include a guide rail for ergonomic removal of the drum, a grinding jar with gasket for lossfree operation, a separation grid to separate sample from grinding balls (only for Ball Mill), a solid noise-protection hood and an emergency switch. Technical specifications include 1 grinding station, hardened steel grinding tools and grinding drum sizes of 5 l / 10 l / 21.7 l / 43.3 l. Batch size / feed quantity is minimum 1 l / maximum 20 l, the setting of grinding time is digital and the drive is a 3-phase asynchronous motor with frequency converter with drive power 0.75 kW. Electrical supply data: different voltages; power connection: 1-phase; protection code: IP 50; power consumption: ~ 750 W (VA); closed dimensions W x H x D: 1500 x 1200 x 700 mm; net weight: ~ 295 kg; standards: CE. The TM 300 is suitable for pulverizing and mixing and for preparation of granules and powders in both dry and wet grinding processes. Application examples explicitly listed include alloys, bentonite, bones, carbon fibres, catalysts, cellulose, cement clinker, ceramics, charcoal, chemical products, clay minerals, coal, coke, concrete, compost, electronic scrap, fibres and glass.
