DW Series Mesh Belt Dryer

Overview

DW Series Mesh Belt Dryer is a continuous penetrating flow drying equipment for material in strip, particle or slice state with good ventilation. The machine is suitable for materials such as DE-watering vegetable, herbal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine and others with high water contents where high drying temperature is not allowed. There are two types of mesh belt dryer, one for drying the material and the other for cooling the material; the biggest difference between the two machines is the mesh. Materials are uniformly distributed on the mesh-belt by a material feeder and the mesh-belt generally adopts 12-60 mesh stainless steel mesh driven by a transmission device. The dryer is composed of several sections with hot air circulated separately in each section, part of the exhausted gas removed by a moisture exhaust blower and waste gas controlled by an adjustment valve. The mesh-belt moves slowly with running speed freely adjustable and final products fall into the material collector continuously; top and low circulation units can be freely equipped according to client requirement. Noted advantages and features include high efficiency, low consumption, easy operation, a heat insulating layer to prevent pollution, fast heating, controllable speed and temperature, forced ventilation and cross-flow drying with air distribution plates for uniform drying, low noise, stable operation, and options for common control (Button) or PLC and touch screen control. Store memory of work-program mode, technological parameter storage and printing function are available according to client’s requirements. Technical parameters include models DW-1.2-8, DW-1.2-10, DW-1.6-8, DW-1.6-10, DW-2-8 and DW-2-10 with unit number 4/6 respectively and belt Width (m) 1.2, 1.2, 1.6, 1.6, 2, 2; drying section Length (m) 8 or 10 as per model. General process ranges: Thickness of the material (mm) 10-80; Temperature ℃ 60-130; steam Pressure Mpa 0.2-0.8; steam Consumption Kgsteam/KgH2O 2.2-2.5; drying strength KgH2O/h 6-20kg/m2.h. Total power of blower Kw by model: 3.3, 4.4, 6.6, 8.8, 12, 16. Total power of equipment KW by model: 4.05, 5.15, 7.35, 9.55, 13.1, 17.1. Specialized vegetable and feed variants and their model-specific dimensions, capacities, steam consumption and power are provided as separate machine configurations. Documented applications include de-watering vegetable, particle feed, gourmet powder, shredded coconut stuffing, organic color, compound rubber, medicine product, medicine material, small wooden product, plastic product, and aging and solidification for the electronic component and device. The product line includes two machine types explicitly for drying and for cooling. Specialized vegetable machines listed are DWP-2-10-3, DWF-2-10-3 and DW5-3-12 with effective belt widths 2, 2 and 3 m and vegetable capacities 600, 720 and 2000 kg/h respectively; evaporate strength values are 400-510, 480-640 and 1440-1800 kg/h and consumption of steam 2.2-2.5, 2.2-2.5 and 2.2-2.4 Kgsteam/KgH2O. A specialized machine for feed (frame type) is model DWZ-3×12 with effective belt width 3 m, effective belt length 12 m/unit, using temperature 80-130 ℃, pressure of steam 0.4-0.8 Mpa, drying time 35-50 min, thickness of material 5-8 cm, drying strength 6-20 kg/h and consumption of steam 2-2.4 Kgsteam/KgH2O.
