Overview

Eaton's Pow-R-Line Xpert 4X (PRL4X) Power Xpert Multipoint Metering distribution panelboards provide a compact, flexible solution for electric power distribution with integrated breakers, metering and surge protection. Rated maximum voltage: 600 Vac and 600 Vdc. Continuous current: 250-1200 A. Interrupting rating: 240 Vac: 10-200 kA fully rated; 240 Vac: 22-200 kA series rated; 480Y/277 Vac: 14-200 kA fully rated; 480Y/277 Vac: 22-150 kA series rated; 250 Vdc: 10-22 kA fully rated. Core metering and monitoring features include ANSI C12.20 and IEC 62053-22 accuracy for revenue meters, quick connect terminals for current sensors, Modbus communication and bus voltages, and the ability to monitor power and energy for up to 60 current sensors (scalable from 6 to 60 circuits). The unit includes 256 MB of standard memory for up to two years of 15-minute interval data, extensive LEDs for verification of sensor connections/communication/equipment status, automatic detection of each current sensor's rating, and self-protecting current sensors in the event of an open circuit condition under load. The Pow-R-Line Xpert family includes Power Defense molded case circuit breakers with communicating electronic trip units. The PRL4X is designed to meet UL 67 and NEMA PB1 standards for use in data centers, industrial, commercial and healthcare facilities for up to 600 Vac, 600 Vdc and 1200 A applications. Power Xpert Multi-Point Meters enable remote meter reading and monitoring through the optional Energy Portal Module, support Ethernet networks and modems, and are equipped with serial-based Modbus for communication. The system provides a cost-effective, scalable approach to meter energy in assemblies or power distribution equipment with a high density of metering points and can monitor energy consumption as well as gas, water and steam to manage facilities' entire utility footprint, with 256 MB of memory storing up to two years of 15-minute interval data.
