4322 Automated Pressure Calibration System

Overview

The 4322 Automated Pressure Calibration System provides controlled pressure generation and measurement from vacuum through 70 MPa (10,000 psi) with an on-board pump for low-pressure/vacuum work and capability to use an external gas supply for high pressures. Pressure control ranges: On-board Pump gauge: -98 kPa (-14.2 psig) to 2 MPa (300 psig); absolute: 3.5 kPa (0.5 psi) to 2 MPa (300 psi) absolute; vacuum (negative gauge): 0 to 98 kPa (29 inHg). External Gas Supply ranges: gauge 28 kPa (4 psig) to 70 MPa (10,000 psig) and absolute 130 kPa (19 psi) to 70 MPa (10,000 psi) absolute. Operating medium is dry nitrogen supply or ambient air compressed by the on-board pump. Designed for industrial calibration labs and manufacturing test benches that require automated, traceable pressure generation and control from sub-atmospheric levels up to 70 MPa (10,000 psi). Typical uses include calibration and verification of pressure gauges, transducers, switches and other pressure-measurement instruments where measurement uncertainty and repeatable automated setpoints are required. Configuration notes for operations: use the on-board pump for vacuum and up to 2 MPa control; connect an external high-pressure gas supply and the IQC70 interlocking quick connections for pressure work above the on-board pump range and for faster set times at higher pressures. Remote control and automation interfaces include RS-232, USB type B, IEEE-488.2 and USB type A (PCL5 only). Warm-up and environmental constraints relevant to planning: 15 minutes warm-up after 60 minutes ambient acclimation, operating temperature 0 °C to 50 °C, altitude up to 2,000 m, and humidity 5 % to 95 %.
