Overview

The Fico AMS-i is a fully automatic molding system designed for all current and future package types and for use with any type of pelletized molding compound. It features independent, flexible press operation, high reliability and the shortest machine time in the market to guarantee high output. The machine includes intelligent mold identification that automatically loads process parameters to ensure quick start‑up and ease of operation, and the flexible design allows easy incorporation of specific customer requirements. The Fico AMS-i is intended for automated molding of package types using pelletized molding compounds. It supports workflows that require intelligent mold identification and automatic loading of process parameters to enable quick start‑up and consistent operation. When equipped with the stated options the system can perform full product quality inspection (MQI), product size measurement, incomplete fill checks and infeed inspection including identification, orientation and 2D‑dot code reading, and it provides product lot tracking, leadframe orientation checks and remaining cull detection during unloading.
