Overview

Z5 is a balancing machine for rotors weight up to 22 lbs with a belt drive designed for small rotors. The driving system enables operation both with the belt placed on top of the rotor and with the belt fixed in position under the rotor. The machine base plate can be rested on a working bench or bolted down to a solid base element. The machine base is fitted with an articulated stand supporting a photocell or a magnetic transducer for detection of the unbalance angular position and for automatic synchronizing of the signal filtering. The photocell can detect a reference mark previously made on the rotor (chalk, felt-pen or adhesive tape), and the supplied tooling allows optimizing the measuring spin mode to save time in the production cycle depending on the rotor type. Use to dynamically balance small rotors weighing up to 22 lbs using a belt-drive arrangement that can run on top of or beneath the rotor. Install on a workbench or bolt to a solid base element depending on the setup required. Use the articulated stand with a photocell or magnetic transducer to detect unbalance angular position and to automatically synchronize signal filtering; the photocell detects reference marks made with chalk, felt-pen, or adhesive tape.
