Kurtz PRO FOAMER

Overview

Kurtz PRO FOAMER molding machines are used in the high-end processing of EPP and EPS and support EPS/EPP processing up to 5 bar. The machines employ PID technology for quality, productivity, and energy efficiency and offer interchangeable steam chambers for easy format adjustment. Standard and optional equipment includes dual density function with 2 densities, filling injectors with i-CAP (intelligent filler maintenance), volumetric water dosing system with pressure increase, oil cooler, mould temperature and foam pressure measuring, mould change with guiding rolls, working platform for mould change, hinged ejector plate, mould change hoist manuel/electrical, regrind mixing station, air connection for high and low-pressure, central vacuum system, and a remote-start function. They can be combined with Kurtz standard handling systems or robotic solutions and include Central Management 4.0 (mobile control station, worldwide access) and Remote Service 4.0 for troubleshooting in real time. The Kurtz PRO FOAMER is used to produce molded parts of all kinds from EPP and EPS, including technical molded parts with insert technology and EPS foil lamination. It supports production scenarios requiring dual-density parts and processing pressures up to 5 bar while enabling energy savings of up to 70%. The machine can be integrated with Kurtz handling systems or robotic solutions and supports remote operation and service via Remote-start, Central Management 4.0, and Remote Service 4.0.
