Model SPRINT 32|9 for complete machining of workpieces up to ø 32 × 600 mm in a footprint of less than 2.8 m². Max. workpiece diameter: 32 mm / 1.3 in.; Max. workpiece length: 240 mm / 9.4 in.; Max. bar diameter: 32 mm / 1.3 in. (bar capacity diameter: 32 (38)). Automatic turning with 6 linear axes, 2 C-axes and a B axis; main spindle with 8,500 rpm, 40,4 Nm, 5.5 kW; counter spindle with 8,500 rpm, 14 Nm, 2.2 kW; driven tool spindles 6,000 rpm, 3 Nm, 1 kW. Total of 41 tool stations including 8 driven tool stations as standard; up to 2 tools working simultaneously; SWISSTYPEkit optional for short and long part turning on one machine. Control & software alternatives: Fanuc; control panel with 10.4" colour display and FANUC 31i-B5 Plus; Tool Monitoring System with graphical tool load display as option. Integrated spindle motors for main and counter spindle with direct measuring systems, thermo-symmetric machine bed design for highest accuracy, constant stiffness due to large ball guide ways with balanced distance, vertical covers and free chip fall.
